Adobe puts video editing on the Web

Users of the Photobucket video sharing website can now edit their clips online using software developed by Adobe. The delivery of Web-based video remix and editing technology to 35 million Photobucket users is a significant new direction for Adobe, which has previously focussed almost exclusively on development for the desktop. Sendo settles with Microsoft

British mobile phone designer Sendo has settled its legal dispute with Microsoft. In an out-of-court deal, both companies have agreed to drop their claims and counter claims against each other.
