IEEE suspends 802.20 group

The IEEE has suspended the operation of a committee to establish the 802.20 wireless standard after it was revealed that the Group's chairman Jerry Upton had a 'relationship' with Qualcomm, one of the major players in WiFi technologies. Nokia goes Safari for smartphone browser

Along with its new 'N' series handsets, Nokia has also unveiled a Web browser for its smartphone software, the S60 platform. The new browser is intended to provide smartphone users with a better Web experience when browsing full Web pages on the Internet.
