Apple's chief financial officer told a California technology conference that more than 1,000 Mac applications have now been ported to the Intel platform and that the company is a year ahead of its schedule for the transition to the new hardware. UK security company suggests link between Bagle and MyDoom

mi2g has suggested that the Trojan employed by the latest version of Bagle indicates a link between the authors of Bagle and MyDoom. mi2g says it has discovered a new version of Bagle that contains a Trojan component first spotted in January and identified as the Mitglieder proxy Trojan downloaded by Bagle-A. At the same time, MyDoom-A was running riot on the Internet, but within days there was a concerted effort to install the Mitglieder proxy Trojan through the backdoor left open on MyDoom-A infected PCs. ...more
