DoCoMo offers 3G Compact Flash card

NTT DoCoMo has announced it will offer a Compact Flash card that contains a 3G radio, giving access to the company's third-generation FOMA service to handheld and desktop computers. The card - P2402 - will enable videophone and other wireless data services offered on FOMA at speeds of up to 384Kbits/sec downstream and 64Kbits/sec upstream. EU sets 2012 date for digital TV

EU ministers have a set a Europe-wide date for the switch from analogue to digital TV broadcasts, and it is 2012. This suits the UK (and we currently hold the EU Presidency) as our own government-set date for switching has drifted from the original 2010 to 2012.
