Presentation software to join Google's office apps

Google has confirmed that it will soon be adding a presentations application to its Docs & Spreadsheets collection of Web-based office software. In a posting on the Google blog, engineering director Sam Schillace said that the company has recently acquired Tonic Systems and its 'great technology for presentation creation and document conversion'. Vodafone launches 3G into Europe

Today sees the official commercial launch of Vodafone's 3G services in Europe. The service beginning the 3G rollout will be the Vodafone Mobile Connect 3G/GPRS datacard, which Vodafone claims to be the first high speed lap top datacard of its type.
