Hewlett-Packard is to launch its new PC in Europe in November. The e-PC is aimed at both corporate and small business markets and is an attempt by the company to phase out their eVectra and Brio products. Apple releases QuickTime security update

Apple has released a security update that addresses a vulnerability in QuickTime where visiting malicious websites may lead to arbitrary code execution. The flaw is caused by a buffer overflow in QuickTime's handling of RTSP URLs. By enticing a user to access a maliciously-crafted RTSP URL, an attacker can trigger the buffer overflow, which may lead to the execution of code. ...more

HP and Nokia team up for Bluetooth printing

Wireless printing project will make phone to printer connection Nokia and HP have announced that they are working on a printing application for Nokia's Symbian-based Series 60 mobile platform that will allow users to print files on Series 60 phones directly to a compatible printer via Bluetooth.
