Apple releases QuickTime security update

Apple has released a security update that addresses a vulnerability in QuickTime where visiting malicious websites may lead to arbitrary code execution. The flaw is caused by a buffer overflow in QuickTime's handling of RTSP URLs. A member of the trifinite group of wireless security experts has issued a paper on the factors behind the creation of the InqTana worm, which targeted a flaw in Apple's operating system. Wireless printing project will make phone to printer connection Nokia and HP have announced that they are working on a printing application for Nokia's Symbian-based Series 60 mobile platform that will allow users to print files on Series 60 phones directly to a compatible printer via Bluetooth.
