Crazy Frog under investigation for duping kids into subscriptions

The UK regulator for premium rate phone lines is investigating whether the Crazy Frog ringtone duped children into signing up for a subscription plan. Icstis said that it has received more than 100 complaints that people trying to buy the ringtone inadvertently agreed to pay a ?3 per week subscription through Jamster's service provider, MBlox. The complaints said that the company's terms and conditions were hard to understand and misleading. ...more
