Antivirus experts have published their monthly reports today, showing the extent of infections by the latest variants of the rampant Sober worm. With its German and English bilingual capabilities, Sober P and N were clearly earmarked to cause havoc in Europe, and this is exactly what appears to have happened. HP 'jilts Intel Itanium'

Intel's biggest customer for its Itanium processor is to stop building workstations built around the chip according to the online edition of the Wall Street Journal. Hewlett Packard is rumoured to have dropped the chip in favour of concentrating on IA-64 based machines.
