Intel backs down on Rambus-only P4

Intel will be bringing out a SDRAM and DDR-compatible version of the Pentium 4 chipset in the autumn, the company said on Monday. Bulldog ID theft affected just three broadband users

Bulldog has revealed that only three of its broadband subscribers were affected by the 2005 breach that resulted in hackers obtaining personal details of around 100,000 of the ISP's customers. 'To date three customers have been in contact as they have received unsolicited and possibly repeat telemarketing calls, potentially as a result of this. The US Supreme Court has agreed to consider whether Microsoft should have to pay damages overseas for infringing a speech recognition software patent owned by AT&T.
