AMD says it is on track with 90nm SOI process

AMD has denied reports that it has run into trouble in developing its 90nm SOI process. Yesterday we reported that Xbit Labs had learned that development problems had pushed back the launch of desktop processors based on the 90nm process to the second half of 2005. Nvidia has further extended its GeForce 6 Series of graphics processing units (GPUs). New to the series are the mid-range 6600 and 6600 GT.
