Microsoft issues security updates for June

After a quiet May, Microsoft's monthly update of vulnerabilities to its software has a busier June with three critical updates. Two of the critical updates involve Internet Explorer, including one that could allow an attacker to take control of a system via HTML Help. UPDATED: SiteAdvisor software warns of untrustworthy sites

Five per cent of all Internet traffic goes to disreputable websites according to a survey by SiteAdvisor. For the past 11 months the company has been tracking Net usage with specially-developed Web crawling software and found that one in every 20 sites visited uploaded unwanted software to the visitor's PC, sent out spam or attempted to trick users into giving up sensitive information. World's first holographic disc drive unveiled
