Dubai hacker faces huge compensation charge

Lee Ashurst, a 22-year-old Briton living in Dubai, is facing a claim of over ?600,000 for hacking into the United Arab Emirates' only Internet Service Provider (Etisalat), causing it to crash. The country, which was trying to model itself as the Internet hub of the Middle East, actually had no laws against hacking.
