Microsoft has updated its recent Internet Explorer update, after users complained that it blocked access to some Web sites. 20,000 Half-Life 2 hackers thwarted by online game checks

The developer of Half-Life 2 has suspended 20,000 online authorisation accounts for individuals it says have tried to register pirated copies. The developer, Valve, set up the Steam distribution system with the express objective of preventing widespread piracy of the highly anticipated game. Motorola's Zander predicts Apple phone

The CEO of Motorola has claimed that it is only a matter of time before Apple makes its own smart phone. 'We know they are going to build a smart phone,' Ed Zander said at the Technology Review's Emerging Technologies Conference. Second birthday AMD processors

Marking the second anniversary of its Athlon processor, AMD has announced new mobile editions of the Athlon and Duron, as well as a Duron processor for desktop PCs. BT unveils converged enterprise product

BT has announced it will offer a converged comms solution for the enterprise as its BT Fusion initiative gathers momentum. BT Fusion allows a mobile phone to use a local fixed-line or mobile network for making calls depending on the environment - converging fixed line and mobile voice services. With BT's Fixed-Mobile Converged (Enterprise FMC) service, the convergence proposition will be expanded to focus communications on a converged all-IP network, with commercial pilots expected early next year. ...more
