Yahoo! unveils new weapon against spammers and phishers

Yahoo! has unveiled its DomainKey email authentication system and has submitted it to the Internet Engineering Task Force to be accepted as a standard. The system, which was announced in December of last year is intended to tackle the twin problems of spoofing and phishing. As spammers have become subject to laws, the anger of recipients, and more sophisticated anti-spam tools they have increasingly sought to hide their original source by 'spoofing' or forging the often innocent email addresses in the 'From' line. ...more

Online sales giant eBay has launched its eBay Express service in the UK. AMD names the days, delays the Clawhammer

AMD has announced that the 64-bit Opteron processor aimed at the server and workstation markets will be launched on April 2 However, the Athlon 64 processor - formerly known as `Clawhammer` - for the desktop and mobile markets has been pushed back to September. Originally the launch was slated for the first half of this year.
