Microsoft has just released the Dungeon Siege Fan Site Kit which contains a number of goodies to help fans build there own Web site for the much-anticipated role-playing-game title from Gas Powered Games. Intel hypes Hyper-Threading

Intel has been showing off its latest processor technology, Hyper-Threading, a design for handling parallel data instructions. With promises of improving system performances by up to 30 per cent, the new processor design allows a single processing unit to handle data instructions as "threaded" parallel streams. The UK Patent Office is inviting inventors and others to comment on the workings of the current British patent system. The Patent Office says it is looking to find the 'Goldilocks' solution to the 'inventive step' - to identify the original idea that will underpin the granting of any new patent.
