New ATI X-series graphics first to support PCI Express

ATI Technologies has fired its first broadside in the battle for the PCI Express graphics market with the announcement of its Radeon X-Series family of graphics chips. The company expects product announcement from graphics cards vendors at the end of this month with the official unveiling of the PCI Express bus. Apple has released an update for all iPod models, to provide compatibility with iTunes 4.5. The update supports all models of iPod and iPod mini introduced before April 28, 2004, although only players with a dock connector will be compatible with the new Apple Lossless Encoder format. ...more

The war of the Apples is over as Steve Jobs' Apple Inc and The Beatles' Apple Corp reach a new agreement. Apple Inc will now own all of the trademarks related to 'Apple' but will license some of them back to Apple Corps.
