palmOne leaks details of its own handhelds

palmOne appears to be about to unveil two new PDAs, according to rumours, backed by leaked pictures, doing the rounds on the Web. The first of these will reportedly be the Tungsten E2, several pictures of which have found their way onto Engadget. Intel settles EPIC Intergraph dispute

Intel has settled the long running patent dispute with Intergraph, which involved the development of Itanium processor technology. In return for an agreed financial payment, Intel will now receive a license to use Intergraph's PIC technology. This became a component of Intel's IA-64 EPIC (explicitly parallel instruction computing) architecture, which is used by the Itanium server chip. ...more

Several ISPs have begun taking orders from households who will soon be brought within reach of broadband ADSL services for the first time. Microsoft launches Windows Storage Server 2003

Following its announcement in July, Microsoft has launched Windows Storage Server 2003. Previously known as Windows Powered Network Attached Storage (NAS), Windows Storage Server is a dedicated file and print server solution, Windows Storage Server 2003 can support storage from between 160 Gb to over 40Tb.
