AMD previews Pacifica virtualisation platform AMD has previewed its virtualization technology codenamed 'Pacifica' at its AMD Reviewer's Day in Austin, Texas. Not for the Singaporeans, it seems, as the top three bidders have decided not to bother with the auction and have carved up the airwaves up between them. The four third-generation licences were due to go under the hammer until one of the bidders pulled out, leaving the fourth licence without a bidder.
