Analysts claim Apple has missed the tablet PC boat

Analysts have claimed that Apple's reluctance to release a tablet-styled Mac maybe a mistake. Tablet PCs are already proving popular, with approximately 72,000 units having shipped in December according to research released by IDC. Hewlett-Packard and Acer led the market, as both shipped around 17,000 units of the Compaq Tablet PC TC1000 and TravelMate 100 respectively. ...more
