UK games chart: FIFA 07 stays top of the league

The FIFA sanctioned footy game, FIFA 07 (DS, GBA, GC, Mob, PC, PS2, PSP, Xb, Xb360), holds its top position in this week's ELSPA Games Chart, having previously gone straight in at number one. The update to the surprisingly popular LEGO Star Wars game - LucasArts's The Original Trilogy (DS, GBA, GC, PC, PS2, PSP, Xb) - climbs from four to two (pictured), and EA's Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 (GC, PC, PS2, PSP, Xb, Xb360) completes the top three. The BPI had demanded the suspension of the accounts by saying it had identified 17 Tiscali IP addresses and 42 Cable and Wireless IP addresses that had been involved in large scale downloading of copyright material. ...more

Zune fails to dent iPod sales as US goes shopping

iPods claimed five of the top ten spots in Amazon's consumer electronics chart over the key US shopping weekend. Apple's portable music players took another five of the top 25 bestsellers, with Microsoft's heavily marketed Zune so far behind that it was outsold by an iPod accessory. The Microsoft player was number 75 behind Apple's USB power adapter at 65. ...more
