More than ?1 billion a year is being spent on video and computer games by game-hungry Brits. A new report by research analysts Mintel revealed that the UK gaming market has doubled since 1995, with almost three quarters of children between seven and 14 having a games console in their home. Apple Super Bowl ad leaked

Apple's much-anticipated iTunes advertisement which was due to be shown for the first time at this weekend's Super Bowl has leaked onto the Internet. Three websites have the ad, which stars 16 teenagers who have been sued by the Recording Industry Association of America for the unauthorised sharing of music files. Consumer electronics set to enjoy 11 per cent growth in 2005

Global shipments of consumer electronics products are expected to grow 11 per cent on-year in 2005 from about $113.5 billion recorded in 2004, thanks to brisk sales of digital TVs and portable MP3 players, said the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), organizer of the recently concluded Consumer Electronics Show (CES), which was held in Las Vegas from January 6-9.
