Napster closed down by court

Napster has been closed down by a US court and it looks increasingly unlikely it will start up again. Judge Marilyn Hall Patel told Napster on Wednesday that its attempts to filter out copyrighted songs from its service had patently failed and that it must prove it can prevent piracy before it can open again.
