YouTube trounces rivals for web video YouTube, the surprise leader in Internet video, is now serving more than 100 million clips every day, figures that must make Google cringe. The search giant has made much of its video offering, which launched in Europe just last week, but it is the upstart startup that has, like Flickr for photos and MySpace for music, become the place for uploading, searching and viewing fuzzy and grainy videos.
