Apple has officially announced that it has shifted the 100 millionth track from its iTunes music store. The punter who downloaded the magic number has been showered with goodies. Intel has released its first completely new desktop processor design since the Pentium Pro - the Pentium 4 is its newest microprocessor for high-performance PCs. After five years, the iMac - the original one, and in many eyes the best one - is dead. There's no doubt in my mind that without the iMac, Apple would now be either dead or sold off, a division of some mega-corporation like Sony. File-sharing not to blame for music sales decline - report

The growth of digital music will not reverse the overall decline in the European music market until 2010 and its not just the fault of p2p file sharing, according to research firm Screen Digest. The European market has shrunk by 22 per cent since 2001 and Screen Digest believes that it will continue to contract for another four years until digital sales can begin to offset the decline.
