Autorooter worm attacks Windows RPC flaw

The US Department of Homeland Security's concerns that hackers were preparing viruses to take advantage of a recently discovered flaw in Windows have been vindicated, with the arrival of the Autorooter worm. Nokia's knockout quarter - every third phone is a Nokia

Nokia has revealed healthy figures for its Q4, leaving Chairman and CEO Jorma Ollila 'more than happy'. Although net sales decreased 5 per cent over the corresponding quarter last year, it's still a rosy picture for the mobile phone operator. The head of Microsoft's legal department has warned Apple to stop blaming the music companies for its 'inability to sell every conceivable iPod'. General counsel Brad Smith said that Apple was 'doing pretty well', and that it was the music companies that were doing less well.
