BT to unwire 12 UK cities

BT has announced the deployment of five new city-centre Wi-Fi networks, taking the number of UK Wireless City installations to 12. The company plans to have the the first phase of all 12 deployments working by the end of March 2007. Court decision buys Microsoft way out

Yesterday's decision by the Supreme Court to send the Microsoft antitrust case to a lower court first will give the software giant time to expand out of its core OS and application business.
