VIA Technologies has launched a new series of mini-ITX mobos to be called the EPIA CL-Series. UK businesses lose their way with Instant Messaging

UK businesses have been warned that they are failing to keep checks on a vast number of communications by their employees and risk falling foul of laws on data retention. A survey by Hitachi Data Systems has also found that UK businesses do not archive all email and instant messages, despite new corporate accountability rules that may require them to reproduce communications in the future. While 62 per cent routinely monitor email, only 22 per cent keep an eye on instant messaging, despite evidence that it is the fastest growing means of communication ever. ...more
