Microsoft gets mob handed for iTV

Microsoft has teamed up with three other interactive TV companies to bolster its "Microsoft TV" drive into this emerging market. The partnership will develop technology delivering interactive advertising, enabling viewers to shop from their TV. Estonia goes to the polls, online

About one in 30 Estonian voters cast ballots over the Internet this week when the country became the first in the world to allow online voting for national parliamentary elections. Voters in the Baltic country were given the chance to vote via the Internet from February 26-28 before the actual polling day on March 4. Apple has briefly leaked a mention of a touch-screen iPod in a PDF on the Developer section of its website. According to InfoWorld, the PDF referred to support for iPod Notes on 'touch-screen models.' The document has since been altered to say: 'The Notes feature is supported for iPod models beginning with third-generation iPod (dock connector) models with touch wheel. ...more
