The Mozilla Organisation has released the latest version of its standalone Web browser. PhysX chip lets games get physical

Ageia Technologies is claiming the birth of a new age in gaming with the launch of its PhysX physics processing unit. The processor handles computing tasks for working out how physical forces interact within a game. Digital downloads will replace CD sales - Forrester

Downloads will account for a third of all music sales within five years, according to Forrester. In a study of the European music market, the market research firm found that sales of physical music formats will have declined by around 30 per cent by 2011, to be replaced by digital sales.
