EMI's tills are ringing as download takings grow fourfold

Music publisher EMI has seen a fourfold increase in its digital downloads revenue in the past year according to its Chairman Eric Nicoli. Introducing the group's interim results, Nicoli said 'and I am very encouraged to report that EMI's digital revenues more than quadrupled at constant currency in the first half and now represent more than two per cent of Group turnover.'
