The NISCC says that while the attacks have been in existence for sometime, lately there appears to have been a significant surge in the numbers of email involved. The attacks take the form of Trojans attached to emails, often with spoofed sender addresses and content designed to either tempt the victim into opening an attachment or visiting a malicious website in order to trigger the installation of malicious code. ...more |
