Dai Nippon Printing has announced it has developed a process to manufacture flat-panel displays that uses plastics and will result in cheaper and faster production. Current processes for manufacturing organic electroluminescent displays (OELs) use glass. Apple releases iTunes Store patch for Vista

Apple has released a software tool that enables iTunes Store compatibility with Windows Vista. The patch repairs permissions for files that iTunes requires to play DRM-restricted files purchased from the accompanying downloads service.
