Adobe cuts the price of education

Adobe is offering a huge education discount on six of its Web and print publishing applications. Comprising InDesign, Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator, GoLive and LiveMotion, the 'Education Print-to-Web promotion' costs ?315 and is aimed at students, teachers and lecturers. New Tungsten is sharper and faster

Palm has added the Tungsten T2 to its range of PDAs. Like its predecessor, the Tungsten T, it features built-in Bluetooth, but the new model has a much-improved display and more power. The T2 has the same transflective display used in Palm's Tungsten C and Zire 71 models. ...more

Adobe to release Captivate 2

Adobe has announced a new version of Captivate, its software that enables the creation of high-quality, interactive simulations, software demonstrations and scenario-based training modules. Based on the Flash technology that the company acquired with the purchase of Macromedia, Adobe Captivate 2 generates interactive content in Flash, without the need for programming knowledge or multimedia skills. BT signs C4 to Net TV offering

BT has signed up Channel 4 to its TV service, BT Vision. After the December launch of the set-top-box-based service, the likes of Shameless, Queer As Folk, Jamie's School Dinners and Father Ted will be available on-demand from the Channel 4 archive, via Channel 4's on demand service 4oD.
