BT quietly launches GPRS

BT Cellnet has launched its consumer GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) service with handsets from Motorola. GPRS is the mid-point between GSM phones and the new, high-speed 3G phones due next year. BT hits LLU target but sidesteps price cut
