Microsoft releases toolkit for controlling access to XP SP2 As part of the distribution of Windows XP Service Pack 2, Microsoft has released a set of tools for enterprise customers to control access to the new update. Essentially, it provides a way for corporate customers to retain access to automatic updates - for security patches, for example - while controlling rollout of the service pack.
