Firefox downloads past the 25 million mark

Downloads of Firefox passed 25 million on 15 February, 99 days after its release. The Mozilla Organisation said that its Web browser 'has quickly become the browser of choice, offering user-friendly features such as tabbed browsing, built-in pop-up blocking and live bookmarks'. Mozilla added that Spread Firefox, the website charged with getting the software on to computers, now has over 70,000 members actively promoting the browsers propagation. ...more
