Londoners to benefit from wireless city next year Westminster City Council has been given the green light for becoming a wireless city, following the conclusion of successful trials of the technology dating back to early 2003. Work will begin by the end of the year, initially focusing on the central business and government area of the city, covering a square mile in and around the West End.
