CD Wow faces 'millions' in damages after losing BPI court case CD Wow could be forced to pay damages totalling several million pounds after losing a copyright case brought by the UK music industry's main trade body, the BPI. The High Court ruled that the e-retailer had infringed the copyright of BPI members by importing CDs into the UK from outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
