Creative to acquire 3Dlabs

Creative Technology has announced it is to acquire 3Dlabs Inc as a subsidiary company pending government and shareholder approval. The cash and stocks deal would see 3Dlabs' high-end graphics technology at Creative's disposal along with a heap of IP rights and patents. MyDoom virus brings down SCO website

As predicted last week, the MyDoom worm launched a massive Denial of Service attack on the SCO website over the weekend. The site is currently unavailable. Bagle worm mutates and attacks again

Antivirus vendors have been raising the alarm over another version of the Bagle worm. Bagle-AQ is being reported in vast numbers by the likes of McAfee, Secunia and Sophos, using a range of sophisticated techniques to slip past antivirus software.
