PC Pro reveals false claims of child porn investigation

The UK's biggest ever crackdown on Internet paedophiles has been driven by misleading intelligence, causing dozens of innocent people to be falsely accused, according to PC Pro magazine. Writing exclusively in the new August issue, Duncan Campbell (an expert witness in the defence of Operation Ore suspects) says prosecutions against many of the UK's 7,272 Operation Ore suspects were based on flawed evidence received from US officials. Red Hat and IBM to take Linux to emerging markets

Red Hat and Big Blue are setting up a joint initiative to promote the development and adoption of Linux solutions in emerging markets. The strategy is principally aimed at the booming economies of China, India and South Korea, although the companies say they intend to spread the message worldwide. Gates pledges Microsoft action on spam email

Microsoft has unveiled its plans to tackle spam and is calling on other organisations to help it out stamp out the deluge of junk email which it admits is it's email customers' 'number one complaint'. At a speech to the RSA conference in San Francisco, Bill Gates set out Microsoft's Coordinated Spam Reduction Initiative (CSRI).
