Disney to launch MP3 player

The mobile music player market is already very crowded, but it is about to get a new entrant: Disney Corporation. Apple executives may not lose too much sleep over this latest threat to their current iPod-led market dominance, but Disney is hopeful of carving out their own particular kid-shaped niche. Extended DVI with ex*tend*it hub

Macs with DVD video output can now connect to more than one digital monitor or projector via the Gefen ex*tend*it DVI hub. The hub connects to the DVI port on the Mac and duplicates the signal to its two output ports. Tiscali has announced its third quarter results, with revenues up nearly a third to €168.9 million, mainly due to new subscribers to its broadband services, it claimed. The broadband provider added 160,000 new customers in the quarter. ...more

HP to sell 'value' cartridges for all inkjet models

HP is to extend its high-yield cartridges to the whole inkjet family under the new XL value range. The inkjet giant today told selected journalists at its ThInk in Business event in Singapore that it will be reshuffling its consumable lines in 2007 to distinguish more clearly the gap between light and heavy users.
