Intel rounds out its range with 64-bit Xeons

Intel has brought Xeon, its mid range server processor, into line with its other offerings with the launch of the 64-bit 'Truland' version of the chip. However, these are the first 64-bit offerings from Intel designed for multiprocessor machines using four or more CPUs. Bulldog has added a residential 6Mbps service to its range of ADSL broadband services available on its London network. PrimeTime 6000 provides 6Mbps downstream during off-peak hours, that's between 6pm and 8am, reverting to a standard 512kbps during the day.
