Nvidia settles Microsoft Xbox dispute

Microsoft and Nvidia have settled their dispute over costs and pricing for the Xbox. The heart of the dispute involved the pricing of components within the Xbox, with Microsoft being keen to drive costs down to make its console more competitive but Nvidia being squeezed on its margins. Apple updates Bonjour

Apple has updated the Windows version of its Bonjour zero-configuration networking software. The software, formerly known as Rendezvous, is a networking protocol that uses industry standard IP protocols to allow devices to automatically discover each other without the need to enter IP addresses or configure DNS servers. The software includes a plugin to discover advertised HTTP servers using Internet Explorer - click the Bonjour icon in the Internet Explorer toolbar to enable Bonjour browsing - and Bonjour Printer Wizard, which allows Windows computers to print to Bonjour networked printers, including USB shared printers connected to Apple wireless hubs: AirPort Extreme and AirPort Express Base Stations. ...more
