Trojan makes unwitting porn barons of broadband users

A new Trojan has been detailed that turns your PC into a server which grabs pornographic material from a remote server and pushes it through to whoever requested it. Although it's not known quite how the Trojan is spreading, roughly 2,000 computers in the US have been hijacked in this way by MigMaf-A. Intel to invest $16 million in Czech security firm

Intel Capital, the investment arm of the world's biggest chipmaker, has bought a $16 million stake in the Czech anti-virus security company Grisoft. Microsoft sets IE7 free

Internet Explorer 7, which has now been released out of beta status, is Microsoft's first major upgrade to its Web browser since 2001, with new features aimed at preventing online fraud and improving ease of use.
