Police and prosecutors in Belgium and Switzerland have shutdown Razorback2, the largest eDonkey p2p server. Google Earth in the saddle for Le Tour

Tour de France fans can now follow the route via the satellite imagery of Google Earth. A simple download provides a detailed map of each of the 20 stages (and prologue), complete with all the key parts of each stage, the intermediate sprints and the climbs. QuickTime security update patches Java flaw

Apple has released a QuickTime security update that fixes two Java flaws which could lead to arbitrary code execution when visiting a malicious website. The first security vulnerability is an implementation issue in QuickTime for Java, which may allow instantiation or manipulation of objects outside the bounds of the allocated heap. By enticing a user to visit a Web page containing a maliciously crafted Java applet, an attacker can trigger the issue which may lead to arbitrary code execution. ...more
