Toshiba has announced that its second-generation HD DVD players will be introduced in Japan towards the end of the year. Search giants Google and Yahoo! are to cull gambling ads, according to the New York Times. The issue stems from the dim view the US takes on American companies seen to be giving business to online casinos based outside the country.
