Parthus announced new Bluetooth-integrated products at the Bluetooth Developers Conference yesterday. UK MPs on spam trip to the US

Hot on the heels of the UK's opt-in spam-canning moves, a delegation of parliamentary MPs and members of the APIG (all party Internet group) are US-bound to lobby US lawmakers on legislating against spam. e-Envoy Andrew Pinder will join members of APIG, including Derek Wyatt MP, Brian White MP and Andrew Miller MP, in a three-day meeting with US Senators and officials to try and bring US spam law in line with the tighter controls being put in place in the UK and EU. AOL UK dumps the Mac

In what will be perceived as a snub to Apple's efforts to increase acceptance of Mac OS X, AOL UK has confirmed that it has halted its effort to Carbonise its access software. The decision means that Mac users will have to boot back into Mac OS 9 in order to access AOL's network. BT cuts prices to drive SDSL take-up

BT is to halve the connection charge for SDSL broadband services for a limited period. Between 21 October 2004 and 24 February 2005 the activation fee will be cut from ?450 to ?225.
