WorldCom to face fraud charges The fallen giant WorldCom will face charges of securities fraud, with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) accusing the communications company of improper accounting. The adverts asked "Can your Palm Do That?", but the correct answer was "No, and neither can Pocket PC". ...more BT fills black holes with kiosks BT Wholesale has come up with a new revenue stream by hiring out its call boxes to network operators to fit short range transmitters, covering network black holes. The phone boxes will act as low-powered short-range base stations, or microcells, to cater for holes in network coverage, usually occurring in city locations.
