EC calls for legal action against spammers

The European Commission has called on member states to take aggressive legal action against spam. The EC says in a new Communication that in spite of the high priority of spam on the agendas of interested parties, concern has yet to boil down into action. FIFA 07 regains the top spot in this week's ELSPA UK Games Chart as Battlestations: Midway sinks down to number seven. EA's football title kicks its way back to number one, and another old favourite is reactivated, presumably also with the aid of some price discounting - EA's Need For Speed: Carbon is number two, with Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer 6 completing a familiar looking top three.
