Consumer body calls for more rights for content use

The National Consumer Council (NCC) is calling for copyright law to be overhauled to fall in line with how consumers use content and how owners are rewarded for it. The results of a recent YouGov survey revealed that 55 per cent of those polled copied their audio CDs on to other equipment such as a PC, while 59 per cent thought this was perfectly legal.
